Rhapsody in Blue|Orange|Silver

out West

but not quite

flies a flag

in the wind

on it is illuminated

what they once feared most

what they once held dear

what they once killed

cooked and ate

the Goose that laid the Golden Eggs

ask anyone in town and they’ll tell you why

“we don’t need that kind of attention around here!”

out West

but not quite

pretty confident

seldom right

they bought a few nice things for themselves

then cooked the bird and fed it to a dog

“we can’t have too much of that around here”

that’s why Faygo is still .99 cents
